What to expect?

One of our Ruka Husky staff will greet you upon arrival.

You will be given instructions about how to drive a dog sled. Please listen carefully to ensure a safe ride!

A short walk to the starting area and our guides will lead you to your dedicated sled. As both humans & dogs are very excited to go on the ride, we wait until after the husky safari to take pictures.

As the first guide takes off with his snowmobile, five dog teams will follow. After a small gap, the second group will depart to ensure a smoother, more private and quiet husky safari.

On the half way point the adults have the possibility to change driver.

Back at the starting area you can spend some time with our dogs. We then head into the warmth for hot drinks, snack / lunch and a talk about sled dogs.
